Erin Clark has financial, operational and strategic planning experience working as an independent consultant advising clients from early stage ventures to mature mid-market companies. Prior to that, he spent several years working in crisis management and corporate turnaround services as advisor to, or directly on, executive management teams across several industries. Erin has a BSBA, a BA in Economics and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jon Warren is a business executive with a wide breadth of experience across several technology industries. Jon has held a variety of executive roles within smaller private firms to fortune 150 companies. He has built and led global multi-million dollar business units from the ground up, led the strategic management of M&A teams and the formation of multiple global accounts. Throughout Jon’s career he has excelled at building and mentoring teams that are highly focused on producing value for customers, partners, and investors, while identifying untapped market opportunities and driving significant top and bottom line revenue growth. Jon holds a BS in Engineering, MBA in Global Management and is a graduate from several Executive Programs such as the Emerson Executive Leadership Program.
Dr. Michael Escuti
Chief Technology Officer / Co-Founder
Michael Escuti is a leading liquid crystal and photonics expert pioneering the development of polarization gratings, geometric phase holograms, and devices/systems using them. As Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at North Carolina State University, he pursues interdisciplinary research topics in opto-electronics, telecom, flat-panel displays, and well beyond. He has been recognized by the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE, 2011) and the Alcoa Foundation Engineering Research Achievement Award (2011) for his work at NCSU. He earned his PhD and MS degrees at Brown University and completed a Post-Doc at the Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands). As of February 2015, he is a named inventor on 21 issued and 52 pending patents. He has published more than 108 refereed journal and conference publications, has presented 30 invited research talks, and has co-authored 1 book chapter. He has also served as expert witness in patent litigation before the US Patent & Trademark Office and US International Trade Commission.
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Allan Bacon is a photonics industry veteran who leads client development, sales and marketing initiatives at ImagineOptix. He previously served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Digital Optics, prior to its successful sale to Xperi, a publicly-traded Silicon Valley company that develops and licenses technology to the semiconductor and mobile markets. While at Xperi, Allan helped launch an optics licensing program for the mobile camera market. He also led business development at Pelican Imaging a venture-backed start-up with disruptive camera technology for the smartphone market. Allan earned his BS degree in Physics at Rhodes College and his PhD in Quantum Optical Physics from Duke University.
Director of Operations
Josh Lissauer is an accomplished operations leader who has had multiple leadership roles in engineering, manufacturing and consulting. He had used his expert technical and leadership skills to successfully deliver broad, multifaceted strategic initiatives at companies including Allied Reliability Group and Kraft Foods. Josh holds his BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and his MBA with concentration certificates in Finance and in Technology, Entrepreneurship and Commercialization from North Carolina State University.
